Is there any body that feeds there hens other things than wheat, layers, Chick crumb,growers. Because that's what i use.

live on the western isles (did you know it's further from the mainland than england is from france),with 4 children ,oldest 20 ,twins of 18 and my youngest who is 14 ,all girls

i have a few well ok a couple of sheep now

scottish black face,a couple of milking goats ,suki and may

my pride and joy an old english and a british toggenburg

i've also got about 35 chickens ,

2 geese ,4 turkeys and 14 ducks

plus 4 muscovies

we have 5 cats ,0ne rosella,3 dogs as well

We had the most fantastic Suffolk Punch horse in at work this week, he is huge, I watched the nurses trot him up and it was amazing to see something so big move like that. He is fab!! I nearly asked his mum if she wanted to swap him for a grumpy OH.

I live in the Lakes I have 2 Border Terriers, an aged Lab an aviary with cockatiels, love birds, budgies, diamond doves and a quaker parakeet I have 8 large fowl Silkies in various colours and 5 minatures which I hope to breed from next year and 11 guinea fowl and a pond with koi, orfe and goldfish I used to have horses and our plan is to retire to France asap and be as self sufficient as we can

Red Mites

Ive had lots of red mite this year. Been useing Poultry Shield and have decided I should have saved my money. Im going to creosote the houses out over the winter but dont know what else to try next year when the little sucker get active again.

What does everyone else use and what do you think of Poultry Shield
